Just to see if you found me

Last week was exciting and fun. I saw most of you for your first lesson and many of you surprised me with the work you had done during the summer. You are a great bunch of students.
Don't forget to look at the calendar and be prepared to tell me what you want to do this year--recitals, contests, etc.

Here are some neat things coming up:
Sept 7 3:00 at Texas Tech Recital honoring Dr. Mary Van Appledorn (her music will be featured, she is retiring)
Sept 13 at 6:30 at First Baptist Church A repeat performance of the Heavenly Bound Train. $5 for tickets. ( Written and directed by my friend LeGene Brooks. I saw the first performance at the Potter's House in Grand Prarie and Patti LaBelle was the star)
Sept 16 7:00 a live taping of "From the Top" tickets are $20 and two of the performers are from this area. Wow! that is amazing.

Keep a regular check of this blog each week. I will inform you of who the people are that are working on theory and succeeding, plus other information. Get a good rest this weekend and then we are ready to practice hard.
