January is speeding by

We do have lessons on Monday, January 16th as usual. If you haven't made plans for 2012, it may go by so quickly, you will miss it. It is amazing that it has been three weeks since Christmas. Almost everyone who plans to participate in the Pastorale Festival has one of their songs assigned. A few have both of them. The songs are fun and challenging to learn. The classical selections will be fun because many of the tunes are familiar. Deadlines are very important to me and I try to be sure not to miss anything. I gave you a list of dates at the beginning of the school year, but if you have lost the list, you can check the blog for dates or just email me for a new one. Remember to always bring your assignment book with you to piano. I am not able to remember every single assignment you have in every book, so help me by bringing all your materials. Last week, I enjoyed the comments and answers to the Elvis trivia. Several students are Elvis fans too. This time our trivia is also a well-known musician and singer. Her birthday is January 19.
