Busy Week?

Whether you are participating in the Pastorale Festival on Saturday or not, I imagine your week is very full. Do you keep a planner of things you must do or do you go along haphazardly trying to finish with no plan? I don't remember when my list making started, but I do know that when I don't have a list and a plan, I feel disorganized and lost.  I make a list for the whole week and mark off what I get done each day.  Some weeks my lists get completed, but usually I have to move a few items to the next week.
Last Saturday, a group of students met for a short recital/ practice to show what they had planned for Pastorale.  Some did very well and others found that they still needed to work more.  I hope that you have a plan for your day and your week.  Getting up in the morning and facing a new day with ambition and drive gets each one of us through tough times. It is good to imagine the outcome of plans and realize why you are working so hard.  I hope the plans you make are of value and well-thought-out.  How would you feel if you came to lessons and I said, " Why are you here? I didn't plan on seeing you today."  I plan on you every time and you can count on it.
Work hard this week and make everyday a fulfillment of your plans!
