Will it Rain in Lubbock?

Someone must have been practicing "Rain, Rain Go Away".  You have my permission to change songs.Today is my first post since Spring started, however, the cool weather makes it hard to believe it is this time of year.  I hope you all had good rests and are ready for the remainder of the school year.  We have 10 days remaining before our Spring Festival. (April 5th at Redbud Baptist Church) I will have a sign up sheet here during lessons, but if you have a specific time that is needed, please let me know.  We will try to begin at 8:15 and will likely be finished before noon.  There will be two judges.  As soon as you play your songs, you will be free to leave.  Ratings will be posted  on this blog or you can call me.

I am very anxious to hear how your selections sound when you come to lessons this week.  Some of you are very conscientious about your practice and it will show.  I am a little disappointed that the group who needed make up lessons during Spring break never was able to come.  Tomorrow will be a good day for new beginnings and completing assignments too.

Congratulations, Ryan T. Student of the month!

Remember to complete your practice charts.  The last day is coming soon.  See you soon.

Trivia:  What is Nationalism in music?  Name two composers who would be considered nationalistic composers?
