As I write this week's blog and try to recuperate from the day, I feel very satisfied. All of the students did well and most people were smiling when they walked away from the piano. I can honestly say that students chose songs that were more difficult than ever. It was nice to listen to the achievements while sitting away from the piano. If you were part of the audience, I hope you enjoyed watching the little kids all the way up through the seniors. It is a talented group of students.
I do not want to leave out my excitement for the rain. When the drops began to fall on Friday, I knew that many of you would be sad because of missing the school events planned for Friday. I do understand that. I was just so happy to see the rain that I could not keep from smiling as my rain gauge filled to 2.6 inches. Yipee!!! Then today I received another .4 of rain. We are fortunate that the rain came finally.
I appreciate all the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles brothers and sisters that supported us today. Thanks for refreshments too. See in a few weeks.
