I know that many of you plan 4th of July celebrations this week. I have never attended the parade in Lubbock or the 4th on Broadway, likely because of the crowds there. I have watch fireworks from places like Stone Mountain, Georgia, Salt Lake City, Utah, Colorado Springs, Colorado and
Estes Park, Colorado, beside locally. The very best place was from my own driveway, and I never had the expense of buying them,

I am so proud of the dedicated practice this summer. My very young students are doing amazing. Thank you Gracelyn, Jacob, Kyra, Alisa--especially. It is interesting to hear about the camps and vacations people are taking. I think a change of scenery is good for all of us. Keep working.
