Share Music with Friends and Family

I should have known this forever.  A good day  is all about attitude.  When I feel down and can't get enthusiasm, it sure does help me to hear "You did a good job."  I will try to say that to you all more often.  Thank you for hard work and determination this summer.
A few years back, I took a group of students to Elmbrook Retirement center.  It was during the summer, and I cannot remember for sure who all was there.  We went to play for residents and then were invited up to Lannie Ruth Malar's room to meet her and play piano.  Mrs. Malar was almost 101 at that time.  I remember that Lee, Kier, David, Daniel, Charis and Hannah were there, but I am not sure who else came.  This past Wednesday Mrs. Malar passed away, just before her 105th birthday.  We have visited several retirement groups but that was special because Mrs. Malar still played piano herself.  That was amazing.
You never know who you are going to meet or who you will impact your life when you are involved in music.    Once again, double check with me about your fall schedule time.  Thanks to all who have joined this group.  If you know others who take lessons with me, please ask them to join too.  it makes things easier for all to share excitement and achievements.
