This has been a very busy summer, and it is rapidly coming to an end. My last day of piano teaching for this summer will be Wednesday, August 12th. The first day back will be August 24th.
There have been highlights for the summer. I met new people interested in piano. I know that at least 4 students have better instruments to play. Parents are coming to lessons to observe and participate in their child's lessons. More students are asking questions and doing their computer and trivia questions. I gave away 6 gift cards for practicing.
The fall should bring even more people that are motivated to practice and advance. I am hoping for a summer recital on September 12th. It will be at 10:30 at a retirement home. Stay tuned for details as the date gets closer.
