Rainy Days and Mondays

Have you had a day in or outside your house? This is the kind of day when schedules are sometimes changed for better or for worse.

All the deadlines were observed last week on time. The Jazz Recital was so large it was split into 2 groups, however, we are still in the 10:30 group.

I heard quite a bit of progress on sonatinas last week and some people are using metronomes to help keep a steady beat. I know that parents read this post more than students, so please remind your students to get the computer assignments done during the week. Those help understand and help the note reading very much. I am opposed to the use of "numbers" instead of reading the names of notes. I am glad that the computer games provide that practice. All of the support from home is appreciated.

We have lessons on January 16th. If you are one who requested an earlier time, be sure to come at that time.
