Election on the Brain

Even though I voted several weeks ago, the election is on my mind. I will be glad when Wednesday morning arrives and the election is over. As I thought of the election, I thought of a good music history question. Who wrote this song?

"While the storm clouds gather far across the sea,
Let us swear allegiance to a land that's free,
Let us all be grateful for a land so fair,
As we raise our voices in a solemn prayer. "

God Bless America,
Land that I love.
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America, My home sweet home.

The writer of his song was not from America. He was very patriotic and loved America. The answer is worth $2 and $2 more if you sing it to me.

The Whitlock Theory test is this Saturday. I hope you are studying and ready to show your knowledge.
