Happy Halloween and Happy November

I guess I will make today's comments quickly, in order to get to the Fall Festival at church this afternoon. The All Boy's Recital was fun and Jonathan did well. It is nice to see that so many families support their students in all sorts of weekend events. Thanks everybody.

There is now an opportunity for you to receive updates on the blog directly to your email. I certainly hope this helps you to stay informed and know what is going on at piano. Please be a follower of this blog.

The Amazing Race will likely have a winner this week. At least 3 are closing in on the finish line. Even if you are not the winner, don't quit. All students who complete the race before the Christmas recital will receive some award, in addition to a huge improvement in their music accomplishments. I am very very proud of the hard work that has been done.
If you don't know about it, read the blog regularly.
As of today, the leaders are Pierce, Madeline and Grant, followed closely by another group of racers. I feel that the trip back to Texas will be a rocky road.

Bonus question: What big event happened in Mrs. King's life during the month of October that was very sad? Worth $4
