I hope all of you enjoyed the time you spent with family and friends in the last few days. I was very glad to see my brother and family and my kids were all together too. I was very busy but now I am ready to push forward to recital and the end of 2012.
December 8 is the deadline for those of you entering the original composition contest. Last Tuesday, I received a call inviting students to play piano at Elmbrook Estates on Friday, December 14th at 2:00. I realize that many of you are in school, but if you can make it, it would be a nice practice recital before ours on December 15th.
The December Christmas Recital will be at Redbud Baptist Church on Saturday, December 15th at 1:30 p.m. Please notify me as soon as possible if you need an early or a later time on the program. Our church will be very pretty for pictures so please enjoy that bonus. I am so proud of all the work most of you are doing. You are gaining knowledge and skills that will be helpful to you.
Upcoming events: After Christmas we have these activities in early 2013: Theory Test 2nd time, Sonatina contest and festival, and more if you watch this blog for dates.
Trivia: In the list of the most performed Christmas songs, who wrote the most of them? Which is the number one, most performed Christmas song? 2 stickers if you answer both
