Waiting for the theory results and Waiting for the Recital

When December arrived I felt that anxious feeling that recital time was rapidly approaching.  We have been busy during the fall months and recital comes quickly.  Most of you are preparing for December 15th, but a few do not seem concerned.
Jonathan will be the only entry for the original compostion contest.  The next big even will be the Sonatina Festival in February.  Don't get too relaxed.  I can always come up with things to occupy your days.
Several students have worked to earned gift cards for their work.  They keep track of practice time and have it signed.  They do the trivia questions and a lot of extra credit work too.  I noticed a few of you are within the reach of a gift card before Christmas vacation.  Here are some ideas of accomplishing that goal before December 15th.
1.  Play Jingle Bells in at least 4 different keys.  3 stickers
2.  Count to 50 in notes, using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.   5 stickers
3.  What year was christmas declared a United States federal holiday?    1 sticker
4. Name Santa's original reindeer (or sing them)   1 sticker
5. Make a list of 5 Christmas Carols that you know and perform them for friends.  10 signatures give you 3 stickers.

I am sure I can come up with other ideas this week.  Get Busy.

Recital is December 15th at 1:30 p.m.
