Beautiful Weather and Exciting Successes

Every day you can find a reason to celebrate.  All you have to do is open your eyes.  This weekend almost caused a case of Spring fever.  I am glad that most of you have gotten over any colds and flu that you have had.  This should be a better week.
Congratulations to Ashley for being a spelling bee winner.  Great work!  I also heard several tell me of their science fair accomplishments.  Please share those things with me because they are all good things.

I turned in 15 sonatina entries on Friday.  There are some of you playing sonatinas by a composer who has a birthday this week.  He was born around the same time as Mozart, one of seven children, born in Rome.  To get you back into the swing of music trivia, give me his first and last name, his actual birthday, and how old he was when he made his last public performance.  That is worth 3 extra stars on you chart.

Thank you for working hard and staying up with all the requirements I give to you.  I promise that hard work pays off.  Just wait until you see the results in April.
