Have you Heard the Word Thank You Lately?

If you haven't heard me say thank you lately, please listen as I say it---THANK YOU!
This thank you is for all the parents who faithfully work to support what their students are learning and all the students who step up to countless challenges.  After I sent the note about how we are doing as a group and how we compare with others in our practice, I saw real changes in so many people.  That was what I had hoped would happen.  More started answering the trivia on the blog, more began to record their practice time and more came prepared.  Wow!  That is what I wanted.
This weekend Pauline, Kaitlynn, Kaleb, Carson, Kenzi, Kanan, Ryan E., and Gage took the spring theory test.  Some came Saturday and some came today.  There were quite a few Lubbock kids there and all were there to do their best.  Yesterday Jonathan and Connor were participants in the ensemble tryouts, others will do that in the next week.  Gabriel will play in the Wee Folk recital on March 2nd.  We are working and I thank each one of you for doing your part.
Next weekend I will post how the reward system compares to last month.

Trivia for this week:
Below are names of 10 composers. Organize these 10 into their era of music: Baroque, Classical, romantic and Modern. Then tell what makes a Baroque composers music easy to identify.  Worth 4 stars

Copland, Rachmoninoff, Schubert, Vivaldi, Handel, Grieg, Chopin, Bizet, Mendelssohn, Pachebel
