Don't let Fall trip up your Practice

Each and every year, the fall season is one of the busiest. The various sporting activities, band, ballet, scouts, and gymnastics are just a few that come to mind. Along came piano to add the theory test preparation and our recitals.  One of these events takes much time, but many of your are involved in multiple activities.  All of you who are above 6th grade have homework that takes any extra time.
Last week during lessons, I suggested making a schedule to allow time for everything. I had a few strange looks, but I am a believer in making a list and sticking to it.  Otherwise, I could never get everything accomplished.  Planning is a big deal.  I wish there was a class that taught the art of sticking to a plan. Things get in the way, don't they?  In my case, it is phone calls or emails with unexpected changes.  I do not watch much TV and I have never played a video game. I still have to be careful to focus on the plan for the day.

Please return your opportunity sheet, if your haven't, and the signed policy information

My trivia is not difficult:  What song about fall was written in 1945 and then words were added two years later?  Name the singer who made it popular?  Which famous pianist also recorded  this song in 1955?
