Information and Inquires

This is likely to be a long blog. I am listing information in order.
1.  Thanks to all the boys: Jacob, Evan, Caden, Gage, Gabriel, Alex , and Marc for performing at the All Boys' Recital yesterday.  I appreciate you and your parents very much.

2. The theory test is Saturday, October 31 at First Baptist Church Avtivities Center.Grades 9-12 8:30; Grades 7-8 at 9:00; Grades 4-6 at 9:30; and Grades 1-3 at 10.  The test usually lasts from 1-2 hours, depending upon the grade level.  Be sure you bring pencils, erasers, and a clipboard to write on.

3.  Hymn festival will be November 7th at Margaret Talkington school, 415 North Ivory. Everyone will need their music plus a copy for the judges.  We will discuss this at lessons.

4. An ensemble director has been selected by LMTA. Students will play at the convention in Dallas June 15th. The fee for this is $15 and the deadline is before Christmas.
2 levels will be possible. You must be a Student Affiliate and by June, you must have taken and passed the theory test.  If you are interested, please send me a message.  Some of you should do it.

5.  Christmas recital thoughts:  Do you prefer 1 long recital without a break and refreshments?
or 2 recitals with a no refreshments, one group coming 15 minutes after the other?  We cannot start the program before 1:00 p.m. on December 12th.
