Do you see the light at the end?

Some of you saw some great results last week.  You kept your practice log and I could tell you had worked much harder.  Sonatina contest and festival will be next Saturday morning at Texas Tech.  If you are enrolled, you will be getting a schedule of times from me tomorrow.  I saw some people last week that are ready and others are still far from being prepared.  Don't go with thoughts that you will have an easy time if you have not prepared your piece to the best of your ability.
The following Saturday and Sunday , 23-24 will be the last opportunity for the theory test this school year.  I am sure you are tired of hearing me ask the same questions, but I want the best possible grade for you.  The only way that will happen is to be prepared and study diligently.

This week, when you come to piano, one quick easy way to get one extra credit star is to say truthfully, "I do not read figure numbers INSTEAD of notes."  Then prove it.  I have only had to threaten white out a few times since Christmas.  Yea!  that is good news .
