Just a few Random Thoughts

Tomorrow begins the third week for the new year.  How are you doing? Have you managed to continue your plans for this semester?  It is not easy is it?  Next Saturday, January 25th, will be the the Jazz, Pop, and Rock recital at 10:30 at the Piano Gallery.  We will have several students involved in that.
Some students are working toward preparations for the Spring theory test and also the sonatina festival.  We are always busy and there are lots of different things to do. I am excited to hear you each week and how you are progressing.  Seventeen students are participating in the festival and 1 in the Sonatina contest.
Before the end of  January, some of you will be receiving music for the spring festival that occurs April 5th. Soon after that, all of you will have your selections. I am eager  for the excitement of  Spring.  I am so tired of cold weather and ready for rain and warm weather.

Last week, when I wrote in the blog about the "mystery" student who was always so disagreeable, it was funny how many confessed. The one I was talking about never confessed, probably because that student NEVER reads this blog.  (notice, I never say whether it is a boy or a girl)

I am glad you are working and practicing and keeping me busy.  Someone is always introducing me to another singer, and I actually like a few of them.

See you with a smile and a song this week.
