My Last Blog Post for this Month. Don't Miss it!

Have you ever been asked at your lesson if you have read the blog this week?  Some of you are so faithful and keep up with dates and deadlines.  I seldom send individual emails because the blog is like a newsletter.

Yesterday, 5 boys from my studio played in the Jazz, Pop, and Rock Recital. It was fun to watch all the performers, but, of course, I enjoyed my students the most.  I love to watch the way the confidence comes out when they play with other students.  I must say I was proud.  Thank you to Samuel, Luke, Connor, Kaleb and Kier.  You did very well.

This week, I hope to start assigning music for the Spring Festival.  Each student will have an American piece and a classic piece to memorize by April 5th.  The next city recital is the Wee Folk recital .  That will involve student affiliate students in grade 1-3.  If you wonder about that, be sure to ask.

I have the sonatina schedule now.  I will give it to you at your lesson and also send it to your parents.  Everybody should know when they are playing by Thursday.

Almost musical trivia:

Which character comes to your mind when you hear "I'm late. I'm late. I'm late." ? (Worth one star)
When you are late with assignments or events, what are the results? (depends on your answer as to the number of stars)

Reach for the moon.  You will land among the stars.
