Happy Easter to all of you

I hope that each one of you found time to celebrate this weekend.  I think I like this holiday best of all.  I love Spring and the message this days holds for me.

The students at Northridge are having a talent show and several of you tried out and made the cut.  Congratulations to you.  That took a lot of courage to try out in front of your teachers.  Every week, I hear of all the activities going on with my students and I appreciate your work for me even more.  Last week was the deadline for the practice challenge.  There were not as many who completed it this time, but I am very proud of the ones who carried it through to the end.

Most of you have kept up with the calendar and know that our recital is Saturday May 24th.  A few have already told of conflicts and I am aware of them.  For those people who will miss the main recital, we will have a performance on May 17th at 1:30.  The location will be confirmed in the next week and you can plan for that.  There are still those who are not keeping up with schedules and routines.  What do you think might help them with that?

Thank you for the birthday wishes last week.  I not only am a year older, but feel a little older too, especially when I see my grandchildren growing up and playing piano.  I love that.

Below is a link for a video that is very exciting.  Any one of you who would like to try to copy this will be featured in the next blog entry.
